When someone submits music to an outlet, they have two methods for doing so: Standard credits or Premium credits. Standard credits are free, but Premium credits cost money -- the majority of which goes to you, the outlet!
When you receive a premium credit, it'll be easy to spot. Not only is there a big orange badge that says "premium" next to it -- there's also a $0.50 symbol on the side. To claim your money, you have to accomplish the following:
If you accomplish these three tasks, you'll get $0.50 per credit that your outlet costs. Once you've earned $10, you can cash out via PayPal or bank account (outside the USA). Simply visit your earnings tab and click the "CASHOUT" button.
Pending approvals
Note that when you approve a song, there's a little button that comes up to "mark as shared." When you do so, the money from the "pending" box will move over to your available cashout balance.
Why does it work this way, you ask? Because of a few bad apples, unfortunately. On more than one occasion, a blog has approved hundreds of tracks, cashed the money out. Clearly no bueno -- which is why this "pending" system is in place.
