Can I charge for extra revisions?

Yes, when a revision goes meaningfully beyond the original scope. Here's how it works.

Free revisions baseline

Each project comes with a number of free revisions. Where you set that count depends on your category:

  • Audio Engineering (mastering, full mix) and Graphic Design quotes: you set the revision count fresh each time when sending a quote.
  • Press & Marketing (bios, EPKs, ads) and Graphic Design sub-services (artwork, canvas, lyric videos, ad design): the count is baked into your service offering at setup. Same number applies to every project.
  • Album/EP reviews: no revisions at all. Reviews are the reviewer's honest take, full stop.

Stick to your set count where you can. Buyers see it on the quote before they approve, so they know what's included up front.

Charging for extras

If a revision goes noticeably beyond what was originally scoped, hit "Request Additional Payment" during the revision phase. Pick the amount (typically $5 to $20 in credits) and write a short note explaining what the buyer gets for it.

They'll either approve or decline:

  • Approved: the work continues with the extra payment alongside the original quote.
  • Declined: send a new proposal, or close the project at the last approved deliverable.
