Once a curator approves your song, you can leave a public review of them. Reviews show up on their SubmitHub profile and help other artists decide whether to submit.
When the review option unlocks
The "Review your experience" button activates in whichever of these comes first:
For pre-release songs, the 5-day clock runs from your release date instead (since most curators wait for the release before sharing).
Hovering over the greyed-out review icon before it's unlocked shows you exactly when it'll become available.
Where to find it
You can come back and edit your review later from any of these places.
Shout-outs aren't reviewable
If a curator approved your song as a shout-out (a smaller, secondary share rather than a proper one), there's no review button at all. See "What is a shout-out?" for context on that approval type.
Not the same as rating feedback
If a curator declines your song with feedback, you'll see "Specific enough" and "Could be better" buttons next to their note. That's a separate flow for rating feedback quality, not the curator overall. The "Review your experience" feature here is specifically for curators who approved your song.
Public vs. private
The review form has two text sections: a public one that shows up on the curator's SubmitHub profile alongside averaged star ratings, and a private one that only SubmitHub staff can see. Use the private section for feedback you don't want broadcast.
Star ratings aggregate on the curator's public profile (on their Ratings tab). Public text reviews show individually there too. Honest reviews help other artists size up a curator before submitting, so the community benefits from real feedback.
Special-request influencer shares: 24-hour redo window
If you submitted to an influencer with a special request attached and the posted content didn't follow your direction, you've got 24 hours from when they post the share to ask them to redo it. Look for the "Ask them to share again" button on the share. You'll write a short note (10+ characters) explaining what needs to change, and a chat thread opens with the influencer so they can respond. After 24 hours, the share locks in.
