What if I want to take a break?

Head to your curator profile, open the Settings tab, and scroll to the Availability section. Everything break-related lives there.

Going on vacation

Set yourself to "disabled" from the Availability section. You'll stop receiving new submissions until you flip it back. You can also set a scheduled return date if you know when you're coming back, and we'll flip you back to active automatically on that date.

While you're away: scheduled submissions

Artists can schedule submissions to land in your inbox on your return date. When you come back, you might have a batch waiting.

You've got three options for handling this, all in your settings:

  • All at once on return (default): every scheduled submission lands in your inbox when you're back
  • Spaced out over a few hours: opt in via the "space out scheduled submissions" setting, so you're not slammed
  • Off entirely: disable scheduled submissions so nothing queues while you're away

Weekends off

If you just want weekends off (not a full disable), request weekend mode from the same Availability section. It unlocks once you link to SubmitHub from your own site and our team verifies the link. See the "Linking SubmitHub from your site" article for the setup. After approval, you pick which days each week you want off.

Worth knowing: that same site link gets your Quality score a small bump and unlocks the higher pricing tiers too, so weekend mode is one of three perks it brings.

Coming back

Flip the toggle back when you're ready, or let the scheduled return date do it for you. Submissions resume right away.
