There are two sections of the popular chart.
1. Weighted Average
This measures whether people rated your song higher or lower than their usual ratings.
To be eligible for the chart, a song must have had a request for votes within the last 30 days and at least 10 votes all-time is eligible.

This helps show if your song stands out compared to what each reviewer typically hears.
Note: Very large differences (over ±30) are slightly reduced using a logarithmic scale to prevent one extreme rating from affecting the score too much.
2. Raw Average
The scores shown in this popular chart are calculated using an average-rating based on Wilson Score that factors a song's mix of bad, average, good, and amazing ratings. It does not weigh the scores relative to each user's average.
A song needs at least 5 ratings within given time frame to be included, as well as a request for votes within the last 30 days. Ratings given after listening for less than 30 seconds are not included.
Genre-specific rankings are based on votes for those specific genres. Let's say you've chosen 3 genres to get rated. The people rating your songs don't necessarily have all 3 of those genres enabled - they may just be listening to 1 or 2 of them. To rank in the genre-specific chart, you need at least 5 ratings from that specific genre to be eligible.
Note: scores below 5 are excluded from the calculation, as are scores from anyone who has an average of 95/100 or higher. Neither of these are typically genuine ratings.
