Yep. Your listing, your credit price and your queue don't change. Direct submissions sit outside your daily capacity, so they never eat into a normal slot.
You can also swap the submit button on your SubmitHub profile for a link to your Direct page. That's off unless you switch it on. If you do, artists who'd have spent a credit go to Direct instead, so you'll see fewer normal submissions.
