What does "Hide from charts" do?

Every song on its Hot or Not page has a Hide from charts toggle. It controls where your song shows up, not whether you get feedback.

What it does

  • Keeps your song off the public Hot or Not chart, the ranked chart other people browse.
  • Keeps it out of organic discovery, the pool of songs we surface to raters who are rating along rather than responding to a specific request.

What it doesn't do

  • It doesn't cancel or pause ratings you've requested. Any premium or earned ratings you've put on the song keep being delivered while it's hidden.
  • It doesn't hide your results from you. Your feedback and scores are always visible on your own song page.

Unreleased songs

Unreleased songs are kept off the public chart automatically, so if your song isn't out yet, the toggle isn't changing anything visible for now. Where it matters is after release: leave it on to keep the song off the chart once it's live, or turn it off to let it appear and rank.
