Reset Analytics sets a fresh starting line for a Link's stats, handy when you're reusing the same Link for a new campaign. It's reversible and it doesn't delete your history.
What reset actually does
It stamps a reset date on the Link. From then on, the analytics tab only counts activity from that date forward. Everything before the reset is hidden from the totals and charts, but not erased. The underlying visit data stays in place.
Undoing a reset
Because nothing is deleted, undoing a reset just removes that starting line, and your full history (before and after) comes back into view.
Why totals can look slightly different after a reset or undo
Your headline views and conversions are a running tally kept alongside a day-by-day record of your traffic. When you reset or undo, we rebuild that tally from the day-by-day record rather than the live counter. The two are usually identical but can differ slightly, so don't be alarmed if the totals shift a little afterwards. The day-by-day history itself is intact. If a number looks meaningfully off, reach out and we'll reconcile it for you.
