Mirroring playlists with Soundiiz

Soundiiz mirrors your Spotify playlist to platforms we don't natively sync (Qobuz, Amazon Music). It can also take over our native syncs (Apple, Deezer, YouTube Music, SoundCloud, Tidal) if you'd rather drive everything from Soundiiz. Connect your Soundiiz account once and we credit you at approve-time for every mirror placement.

How it fits with native syncing

Our built-in playlist syncing covers YouTube, SoundCloud, Apple Music, Deezer, and Tidal (see "Playlist syncing" for the setup). Soundiiz extends that reach to Qobuz and Amazon Music, and can also handle the native five if you point a Soundiiz sync at them. Disconnect Soundiiz and native syncing picks back up for any platforms it had been handling.

Connecting Soundiiz

You'll need Spotify connected first, since Soundiiz only mirrors Spotify-source syncs.

  1. Grab an API key from your Soundiiz API settings (Soundiiz Premium is required for API access).
  2. On your curator profile's Spotify tab, paste the key into the Soundiiz section and save.

We immediately pull every Spotify-source sync from your Soundiiz account and surface them on a new Soundiiz tab.

The Soundiiz tab

Each detected sync is a row: source playlist, destination platform, frequency, last run, and an Active column.

  • Synced: Soundiiz auto-runs the sync on a schedule. We credit you at approve-time automatically.
  • Off / Manual checkbox: for syncs you push manually from Soundiiz rather than letting them auto-run. Tick Manual to tell us "I push this one myself, credit it like a scheduled sync." Leave it Off and we won't credit it.

Refresh syncs re-pulls the list from Soundiiz (run this after you add a new sync over there). Disconnect wipes the key and stops the Soundiiz crediting.

What happens when you approve

When you approve to a Spotify playlist that Soundiiz mirrors, the approval email lists each mirror destination alongside your native syncs. Artists see the extra placements on their approval page and they count toward your cross-platform engagement.

The credit fires immediately on approval. Soundiiz itself copies on its own schedule, typically within 24 hours of the share.

If the key gets rejected

Keys can expire or get rotated. If Soundiiz stops authenticating, the Soundiiz tab shows a reconnect prompt: paste a new key and save. The cached sync list and your manual-override flags carry over.
