How do I get a playlist badge?

The "Promoted with SubmitHub Links" badge marks playlists that are genuinely being grown using a SubmitHub Link. It's a trust signal, so it takes more than just attaching a Link to your playlist.

What you need

  • A SubmitHub Link pointing at that playlist, with its analytics set to public. A private Link can't be verified, so it won't badge.
  • The playlist listed on your SubmitHub curator profile. If it isn't showing up there yet, see the "One of my playlists not showing up" article.
  • Real, sustained traffic to that Link, either organically or from an active SubmitHub Ads campaign.
  • The playlist actually gaining followers.

The part people miss: clicks aren't enough

This is the most common reason a playlist doesn't get badged. If your Link is sending plenty of visitors but the playlist isn't growing its follower count, the badge won't apply. The badge exists to show that the promotion is genuinely working, not just that traffic is being bought.

If you're driving lots of clicks but few follows, that usually points to targeting or creative: you're reaching people who click out of curiosity rather than listeners who actually want this kind of playlist in their library. Tightening that up so your visitors are genuine fans is what lifts follower growth.

How often it updates

We re-check every few hours, so the badge can take a cycle to appear once you qualify. It also works in reverse: if a playlist stops growing, the badge can drop off again.
