Auto top-up on Package-launched ads

When you set up a package with Meta ad credits, you'll see a "Keep my ad running" option (this is the package's version of auto top-up). It controls what happens once the package's Meta budget runs low.

What it does

Leave it on and we renew your Meta ad budget when it runs low, so the campaign keeps going instead of stopping at the original budget. We remind you before each renewal, so you're never charged out of the blue. Turn it off and the ad simply stops once the package's Meta credits are spent.

We recommend keeping it on

Meta ads hit their stride once they've exited the learning phase. Letting them run out and restarting later means starting that learning over from scratch. Keeping the ad running avoids those resets and tends to give better results per credit. That said, it's your call.

Changing it later

You can flip it any time from the ad's Status section: open the ad from your package page, or from the Link it's running on in your Links dashboard. Note that once the ad is live the toggle is labelled "Automatic top up" rather than "Keep my ad running." See the "Turning off auto top-up" article for the walkthrough.

I got charged and didn't mean to

If a renewal fired that you didn't want, reach out at our support ticket page. If it happened recently, we can usually reverse it.
