If your ad is performing well and you want to give it more fuel, you can add budget or extend the end date without launching a new campaign.
Topping up the budget
Head to the Ads tab on your Link and use the top-up option to add more credits. If the daily budget stays the same, Meta keeps its existing learning and optimization data, and the ad carries on without missing a beat.
Heads-up on increasing the daily budget
If you bump your daily budget up (rather than just topping up credits at the same daily spend), Meta may treat it as a significant change and restart the learning phase. Performance can wobble for a day or two while it recalibrates. Small increases are safer than big ones, and if you want a much bigger budget it's often better to let the existing ad run its course and launch a fresh one at the higher spend.
Extending the run time
Same place as the top-up option: bump the end date out and the added budget (if any) spreads across the extended window.
What about keeping the ad running?
If you've left the "Keep my ad running" option on, budget additions happen automatically at your existing daily budget: when credits get low, we renew at the same daily spend and keep the ad going (we remind you first). No manual action needed. If you want to fully control when extra budget goes in, turn it off and add manually.
Duplicating instead
If you want to start fresh with different targeting or creatives, duplicate the ad instead of extending. You'll get a copy with all the same settings that you can tweak before launching.
