Can I add team members to my Marketplace profile?

Yes. You can have multiple people responding to projects from one Marketplace profile. Useful if you've got a partner, an assistant, or another specialist who shares your offering.

How to invite

  1. Open your Marketplace profile (submithub.com/m/u/[your-handle]).
  2. Click "Invite a team member" near the team section.
  3. Copy the invite URL we generate and send it to whoever you're adding.

What the invitee does

They open the link and hit "Join this team." We email you to let you know they've requested to join. They'll need a SubmitHub account first.

Approving the request

Head back to your profile and you'll see the pending request listed. Hit Approve to add them, or Decline to reject. They get an email either way.

Once approved, they can access and respond to every project associated with your profile, just like you. They'll also see the same project notifications on their dashboard that you do, so any project with new activity is visible to the whole team.

Leaving notes for each other

Every project page has a "Team note" field. Drop a note and your teammates will see it (the buyer doesn't). Useful for handoffs, scope clarifications, or "I'm taking this one" tags. Each team member can leave one note per project.

Limits

  • One team per user: anyone you invite can't already be on another Marketplace team. They'll see "Invite unavailable: you're already part of a Marketplace team" if they're already attached elsewhere.
  • Payouts stay with the owner: earnings and cashouts are tied to the profile owner's account, not individual team members. Coordinate payment with team members directly.
  • You can remove anyone: head to your profile, find the team list, and click the block icon next to a member's name. They're removed from your profile and freed up to join another team.
