Connecting your Facebook and Instagram pages

Your ad has to run from a Facebook page and an Instagram account. You can either let us use one of our genre-specific house pages, or connect your own.

When to connect your own

If you want the ad to visibly come from your own artist page (with your name, profile photo, and branding), connect your pages during ad setup. If you'd rather stay anonymous or don't have pages set up, our house pages handle it just fine.

How to connect

  1. On the Pages step of ad setup, pick your Facebook page and Instagram account.
  2. Authorize SubmitHub through Meta's permissions flow if you haven't already.
  3. Invite SubmitHub as an advertiser on your page (we'll show you the button) so we can run ads on your behalf.
  4. Hit Verify. Once the connection shows as confirmed, you're good.

What if I don't have an Instagram account for my page?

That's fine. If your Facebook page doesn't have an Instagram account linked, Meta automatically creates a placeholder that uses your Facebook page's branding for Instagram placements. You don't have to do anything.

Changing pages after setup

You can swap the page assignment at any time. Just be aware that doing so while an ad is active will cause Meta to re-enter the learning phase.
