2022 Wishlist

Last year's wishlist ended up ~50% done. So I've moved some of the remaining stuff into a new section that'll get updated occasionally :)

Submissions

Adjust influence score according to the selected genres
Some curators share one genre to their big popular playlist and others to a tiny new one. The influence score should reflect that
Summary statistics of share results
Filter by mood (happy, sad, whatever)
Let submitters attach a WAV file for curators who want to listen in "high definition"
Scheduling submissions to be sent at a later date or when a curator returns
Sharing submissions between multiple accounts (for labels and publicists)
Budget submissions to curators, where you set a budget, select some filters, and we choose who to send to
Filter curators based on artists they've approved in the past
Option for curators to indicate what listening device they used (headphones, speakers, etc)
Ability for artists to "highlight" a portion of their song that they recommend listening to

Attach lyrics to songs
Encourage artists to share the content that's written about them - and have a system to notify future curators that they have a history of helping to promote the content (everyone wins)

Reply directly to a chat in a chatroom (nested chats)
Search chats
Update #listentothis so that people can actually embed a SubmitHub player that allows us to verify it was actually listened to
Easily link to artist's profile from chat (useful for artists trying to network)

Instantly share a song to Spotify Playlist once approved - no extra "mark as shared" step
Adding to previous bullet, if song is unreleased, schedule it to automatically add on release date
When adding songs to Spotify, choose multiple playlists with different placements and times

Badges (eg, years on site, 1,000 submissions, 1,000 shares)
Listening in one tab and accidentally hit "play" in another tab? Pause the first tab
