EmuBands distribution: A tool for veterans and novices

Here's the lowdown about their basic package: 

EmuBands allows you to distribute your music digitally for a one-time fee per release. While some of the pay-per-release distributors take a percentage of your earnings, EmuBands lets you keep 100% of your royalties.

We also appreciate how straightforward the uploading process is. The steps are: Fill in your information, pay the fee for the release, upload the audio file and artwork, and that’s it! EmuBands adds your music on major streaming platforms (DSPs) in as little as 24 hours. There are no additional fees and your release/s will stay on those DSPs forever, even if you eventually decide to switch distributors.

Professional packages for those who need more!

There are two optional subscription plans available. EmuBands Plus is for users seeking greater control over how their releases look and feel on DSPs. The plan includes features like customizable release/track title casing, the ability to include your own label name, pre-save links, and pre-selected start points for your song on TikTok.

For more active musicians and labels, the EmuBands Pro package unlocks features like priority support, high-quality audio format uploads (Hi-Res/ADM Audio/Dolby Atmos), YouTube monetization, and in-depth royalty reporting. Plus, EmuBands will even handle pitching your music to Spotify editorial playlists.

Here's what sets EmuBands apart:

  • Free ISRC & UPC codes (for all EmuBand tiers) – these codes are necessary for tracking your music and getting paid – which is something you can be charged for elsewhere
  • You can specify which DSP to distribute to by country, which is great for labels with varying regional deals

  • Pay with your royalties to cover EmuBand’s costs – and doing so gets you a 20% discount 
  • Receive your Spotify link before the release date. This is not something many distributors offer! It’s useful for preparing release day copy and ads, which will be ready to be published the moment your song is released
  • EmuBand’s Pro tier royalty splitting system has a cool “pot” mechanism where users can set up 'pots' for earnings to be automatically paid into – great for if you have many recurring collaborators.
