Howdy folks! Welcome to the first "changelog" of the year. That doesn't mean I haven't been busy, of course. It just means I've been soooo busy that I haven't had time to sit down and write a changelog 😉
This was a big change! If things look weird, refresh to make sure you've got the latest code?
My rational for the change was this: the addition of our beta AI song checker made the menu feel super cramped. So, I took inspiration from Google's Material v3 and embarked on a bit of an overhaul.
Shortcomings and future updates
Late last year we quietly rolled out a Meta Ads product that lets anyone create an ad from their SubmitHub Link. With this redesign, the feature has become a bit more exposed - we're fast approaching 300 active ad campaigns!
I'm going to write a separate article about this feature soon. In the meantime, here are some of the recent updates I've made:
In case you missed it, on Tuesday I had the pleasure of doing a "SubmitHub Masterclass" with the folks over at Symphonic.
Most of what I've got lined up is work around the SubmitHub Ads side, including the ability to upload your own creatives and auto-renewal when budget runs out.
I'm also going to keep working on the AI Song Checker to see if I can get better results - it's really struggling when a song is half AI / half human, or was mastered separately by a human. Hrmph.
