[Changelog] March 21, 2025

I feel like I'm behind schedule a bit, so it's probably a good idea to sit back and take stock of what's been done over the last few weeks. Hopefully you find some of these updates useful :)

Campaign drafts

It's never too late to add a basic feature, right?

  • For the last 9 years, the curators chosen while submitting a song are saved to the browser cache. Theoretically, it should still be there even if you refresh, but if you come back 24 or 48 hours later, it's likely that the cache has expired. Which means all the curators you've chosen are lost.
  • Fear not! The latest update saves your selections to the database and keeps them ready for your return.

Miscellaneous

  • You can now pin items to the navigation
  • Copyright dashboard can now be filtered by status
  • For curators syncing playlists, they can fix "errored" songs
  • There's quick access to Ads and Marketplace from the homepage (assuming you have used those in the past)

Links & Ads

  • Cleaned up the analytics tab
  • Topping up your ad from curator balance has been streamlined
  • Similarly, extending an ad with payment or credit balance has been optimized
  • Easier to understand ad performance (previously a mix of Meta and SubmitHub analytics)
  • Easily duplicate a link
  • You can now set your link analytics to be private
  • If you're running SubmitHub, your normal links and the ones with ads are now split into separate tables

What's next?

Got a few big ones on my list, as well as a hundred little ones.

  • One of the bigger todos is to set up automatic renewal on SubmitHub Ads - lots of moving pieces there!
  • Another regular request around SubmitHub Ads is the ability to upload one's own creatives
  • Tilly has been a star setting up all the new Ad requests - she's done more than 1,000 so far! From my side, there are a number of tools / alerts I need to set up so that she can more easily manage all the active campaigns

As mentioned, there are also a hundred little todos to get done. Those'll come soon :)
